  • @thecookinguy its been 2 years... are u at the pier?

  • @RonScheel1 I call BS - i doubt you would ever see anyone pulling claws off of crabs in a public place. and if you did, did you call the game warden? since you didnt make the call, you are also responsible! and crabs lose claws all the time. its a part of the crabs life. Ive pulled up plenty that were missing the claws. Feed you BS elsewhere.

  • I was there a few days ago on vacation and I was at the public peer and damn near half the crab I caught were missing there claws. I sat there and watched serveral locals puuling claws off and keeping females and indersized males, its a shame

  • WHAAAA. you just blew my mind. I thought a fish was on that pole.

  • there on some docks at the bay front near the canneries and what not

  • Where was this at? My bro in law and I fish the Abby St Pier. Good times starting to get crabbin' fever now lol =)~.......As far as keeping undersized or female's its not worth the fines if you get caught so we always throw them back.

  • my dad bought me 4 legs and i was bought going to throwe up cause it was alot of garlic butter and meat lol

  • It's a lot of fun tossing small red rock crabs over onto that private dock to feed the racoons. They crunch'em up shell and all.

  • Man, crabbing in newport is the best! alot of fun. My uncle has a boat were we go farther out in the bay and drop off our crab cages, and pick them up in 30 minutes, to an hour later.

  • Fantastic video. What I admire the most is that you follow the conservation guidelines. A lot of yahoos here post crabbing vids that show them harvesting undersized or female crabs. Great to come across one that ensures there will be crabs for future generations.
