Love this but I would love to see a Wall of Voodoo vid of this, its just fantastic, and even if there isnt a vid its just a sense of genious

the funny/ironic thing is that Stan Ridgway and the Producer, Richard Mazda had major disagreements about how to mix/rearrange this song following its recording, which resulted in Mazda going to the studio early and locking Stan out, they later made up with each other on the forums of Stan's website.

fantastic song

Amazing how this album just never gets old. Its one of the few recordings I just never get tired of hearing. Stan is the man.

This song is the story of my job search. They don't want me.

@chadergeist Agreed. The vocals on this and Factory are wayyyyy too low.
-
I remember this track .... great to hear it again :)

I have this album on cd and lp and don't understand why Stan's vocals are mixed down? The person who mastered this album didn't know what he was doing.

I hear you Nigredo. Even five stars don't do this song enough justice. This is easily the most powerful wall of voodoo song I've ever heard.
