Dear kurdistanaka, Guttis have never been Semitic.they have been a tribe of MEDES and Aryans.they are the ancestors of a significant part of kurds but other kurds are the inheritors of Mittanis.i have never read or heared that kurds have any thing in common with semitic people.I know the kurmanji dialect has some common words with Aramic,but it cant be completely introduced as Aramic.The only thing that im completely sure about it is kurds are Aryans and their tradition is different with semitic

what i can say as an Ilami kurd is, most of the ilami kurds are immigrants.i mean,they are from kurdish tribes of kermashan specially like:kalhor,sanjabi(like my paternal family),zanganah,bajalani and kakaei, there is a tribe also relative with Jaaf tribe in hawraman. they almost all speak Fayli dialect which is considered as a sub dialect of Gorani and among the kurdish tribes of ilam ,u still can find belifes of ahle-haq as their ancestors have been ahle haq before converting to shiia.
