  • I bought your book..."dont stop your mind" and was very disappointed. In my opinion there was nothing unique in it, I wasted my money.

  • @kemetofold You learned nothing ? gained no insights ? Did you already know everything that was expressed in the book ?

  • @Voonfrodle Those are fair assessments regarding the optical experience of the human form, but not so for consciousness which precedes it (and what the speaker appears to be pointing to). You appear to be projecting debatable beliefs that hinge the essentially "free camera movement" or "God mode", which is part of the nature of consciousness, to ONLY an optically deterministic 3D avatar of the human form.

Please see the thinking experiment of "Brains in a Vat".

  • @fhumayun We do exist in 4 known dimensions: we move freely in the first three we call space and naturally move one way in the dimension time. So while we do exist in the first 3 dimensions and a perceivable fourth, we are aware only of all of them interacting together in what we call the 3D. At least, that's my opinion.

  • @fhumayun Yes, but that is looking from a higher dimension to a lower dimension. Of course we can imagine 2D, but the other way around would be difficult. Imagine trying to move "sideways" (speaking relative to the way we perceive our 3D) in time. Also, while we can interpret 2D, but not live exclusively in it.

  • @Voonfrodle That's taking the allegory quite literally IMO. Wildly popular "real world" examples illustrate that our consciousness adeptly molds our imagination to identify deeply with avatars in 2D side-scroller video games as well simulated 3D games/movies on the 2D surface of an LCD monitor.

  • So are you saying that everything has an existence as an upper dimensional "being" so to speak, but we only perceive ourselves as 3D because our being is in a 3D world and for the most part can only think in terms of 3D and lower? If so, then how would that higher D existence fit in a dimension that does not compensate for the extra dimensions?
