DINO X-1 is my first atempt to build a NXT walker with turning legs. And yes, it has laser canons. Im far from happy with the result, but it gave many new ideas to later projects. The walker uses four pf medium motors and four RCX-touchsensors, so I had to use a lot of convertercables. It is programmed to walk in three different ways. It's weaknesses is: not lifting its feet high enough, and it's to slow and heavy. The DINO X-2 do not use the NXT, but only the LEGO Power Function System+one NXT motor.

  • why star wars music

  • @two246810 Why not? I just love the Imperial March who continue to inspire the way I like to build.

  • that is sooooooooooo cool!!!!!!

  • @TheJoaopeter thanx. Hope you like the X-2 also.

  • Nice concept with the turning feet.

  • Thanx. The turning feet are cool, but it's not even close to walk and turn as good as my Dino X-2, check it out.

  • It's funny that you were able to create this with simple LEGO pieces while the people in japan have spent thousands upon thousands of dollars to make less effective and cruddy "walkers". haha... KUDOZ 2 YAH DOOD

  • Impressive biped! Very nicely designed! Congrats...

  • Looks like atat walker with two legs

  • Cool. I am building a giant killer robot out of metal. Check my vids to see it in all its hugeness.

  • good job bro...ppl lyk u giv me inspiration to make new robots..

  • RRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • metal gear!?!?....it can't be!!!

  • Your design is absolutely ingenious! When working with biped robots there are generally two problems that sacrifice the ingenuity of biped technology. One, being the stability of the robot, and the robot's ability to turn. Both of which you solved in a completely new, interesting, and most of all effective way. I tip my hat off to you!
