  • you're right, control doesn't get you to the top. I think that in the future Kenta would have a similair position like Samsonov now has; a very smart game with amazing reflexes, but just not offensive enough to kill the top guys unless he's in perfect shape.

  • I saw nothin wrong at Chen's serve 0:58.

    Stupid referee...

  • i woud love to see the kenta that played against ma lin in that famous game, thats when i said, kenta has future, what a match

  • @itmozart he might start taking protein shakes though and get really buff

  • @itmozart it's quite about the same problem (probably worse than that) that applied on Liu Guo Liang in his prime. It's pretty fortunate for him not to encounter some strong choppers because his style is actually lacking a important element to be against chopper, that is as you said, topspin.

  • Amazing point at 1:45

  • @NexxtGen

Control can get you to the top,it did Bengston, but Kenta does not finish points like Bengston did.

  • @itmozart Agree... I think that Kenta is more of a Counter-Looper... Not much of a heavy offensive player. He would do well in Women's table tennis and he could do well against some of the really hot Chinese players as he demonstrated against Ma Lin but he won't be able to outgun them.

  • @NexxtGen Waldner rarely played all out power and he is considered the best TT player of all time by many.

  • @cje1 I agree with you.Kenta's touch is really amazing.

  • I think Kenta's backhand is lethal. His problem is that his forehand is really weak.If he can improve his forehand,i believe he will be in the top10.He's talented.
