@YoSim01 mmm I use my thumb (and sometimes index fingernail? i guess) for any downstrokes and mostly my index finger for any upstrokes. I would listen to the actual song and listen for nuances and notes he emphasizes so that you can do the same

I think seeing the live version of Coldplay performing it will help you get started :)
