Go James Lankford! It honestly makes me feel emotional to watch him speak. He is a great great man! I wish there were more men like him in Britain. We have some great pro-life people but we don't have the same platform as Americans have to speak about pro-life issues. One day we'll get there!! I think abortion will be illegal in the US first and then the UK will eventually follow. I can't wait until that beautiful day!

Thank you Rep. James Lankford. I have never heard a more accurate, eloquent speech on protecting unborn children. I've noticed that all those sharing have been born; so apparently their mom was pro-life. You are loved by your creator and so are the unborn babies.

I may not agree with a pro life position but I respect it but when you say a woman pregnant due to rape will be forced to give birth to the rapist baby and have no say in the matter they that view needs to be dismissed outright. Also ask these extreme pro life people does the right to "Pursue extend to Gay Citizens" ?

7 billion people on earth and this douchebag slimeball wants to see to it that my generation along with that of my son may be looking at food shortages? Ugh, why the fuck am I FROM Oklahoma? It's weasels like this and bigots like Sally Kern that get Oklahomans branded as ignorant nuts...Please realize that not everyone in this fair state is as narrow-minded as this gentleman appears to be...

@IamAloha that would infringe on the first amendment.

the right to life is intrinsically linked to our human nature, not to a religious ideal (or to a civil law, for that matter). we possess the right to life by virtue of the inherent dignity that accords our existence as a human being. and since this dignity is defined by the order of nature, we claim a right to it--and therefore to life--from the first moment we possess human nature, which is the first moment of our individual existence, which is conception.

@cherylg2006 what we are saying is that until it grows to a specific point (eg. late term abortion bans) it does not have the same rights as an adult. The rights that you ascribe to the embryo are only done so because of a religious ideal. Our country exists on the principle that no one should be subject to the religious views of another. too often you assume that religion = moral and that is not always the case. it is wrong to enforce that view on another who may not hold the same conviction

None of the fundies (who believe human rights begin at conception and end at birth) can rationalize the millions of abortions (called, speaking of euphemisms) "miscarriages") obviously caused by his nasty god. He really needs to MHOFB.

This man is a dangerous, lying, disgusting hypocritical asole.

@crawfordroses yeah I am not trying to say it SHOULD be used I am neutral on the subject but yes it may be the best evidence but the woman wouldn't want that pervert in her life she wouldn't want anything to do with the person so yes it may be evidence like "Okay here is the baby he helped me make" but that would not be a good memory and unless she had a man in her life she would be left as the only parent of the kid while he was in jail for what he did to her.
How about someone who monitors the comments, Delete those that are not commenting on the content of the YouTube clip.
I just read usless comments of others personel opinions,of other religions.
The clip said nothing about that.
My comment is I don't want my tax $ going to fund others right to choice.
Abortion is not a form of birth control.

Most of the pro choice opinions seem to be missing the point. As one person noted, it is supposed to protect the choice of the mother to have an abortion or not to have one... what people seem to be missing is that those of us speaking out on this subject are only trying to speak for the unborn child who isn't given the chance to choose for themself because their mother may choose to kill them before they have any opportunities. I am not against you, I am for the child's right to live.
