@radicalgarbage02 I would rather call this a messed up chat room than a game.
Totally agree with ya. :)

I'm not saying that MMOs like WoW are on the way to destruction, but don't you think the other ones like Second Life are taking this sort of stuff way too far?
I mean real life is time consuming as it is, and if you've seen this whole series so far, video games are perceived by many to be a form of artistic expression and social commentary. Second Life is much more about individual escapism... I think there are things to be learned from this phenomena, but the future of gaming? Count me out!

Word up!
Yeah I'll check that out. Always good to know. Thanks again. :)

You're welcome. Look up stuff on laissez-faire capitalist ideology if you want to know more. Knowledge is power!

Interesting. Thanks for that info.

No it isn't. Most companies condone it.

LOL! But isn't that somewhat illegal to an extent selling virtual money?
-
You can also sell virtual (in-game) gold and currency for real money. Like, a person has 10,000 gold pieces in EverQuest and then sells it all on EBay for 1000 USD to some assclown who uses the gold to purchase concubines; cuz he can't get pussy in the real world.

Ahhh!! I see. That is crazy. But again I guess you have to be in it to get it. And I've heard people could make big bucks on it too. Which is the reason they do it. But again talk about commitment. Thanks for the info.
Holy crap...buying and selling virtual property for real money...talk about mind-blowing.
