Airbus A380-800, Take off from inside cabin, Part 2

If I had to describe what it's like flying in an Airbus A380 compared to a Boeing 747; well it would be like trying to describe to someone the difference between driving a modern Mercedes or Audi (A380) compared to a Lincoln or Cadillac (747).


This is part two of the take off. After flying over Sydney we head east and fly over the South Head of the entrance to Sydney Harbour. Looking south the camera zooms in on the famous Bondi Beach "Take off from inside cabin"

Qantas QF11 from Kingsford Smith Airport, Sydney Australia to LAX.

I still can't believe how incredibly quiet and smooth this aircraft is. I think the Americans have a long way to go before they'll catch up with this technology. The Europeans have done an incredible job with the design.
Sorry about the jerky camera....this was my first time filming from inside aircraft.

@jdhiner1 Actually the 747 is becoming less likely to see... the 777 does what the 747 does, except with 2 engines instead of 4. its cost effecient.

However the 747 was designed 40 yrs before the 380 and they are still selling a ton of them

This is an awesome video! Great quality and footage! Nice seats too! I flew in AirFrance's A380 from CDG/JFK and JFK/CDG, i have to say this is the best plane i've ever flown in! I'm looking forward to flying in it again pretty soon! Cheers mate!

you're so lucky to fly on A380, it gets quieter as you get higher.... lol its a rime. kinda looks like upper deck
