@KrigareavGud: How did you find that out?! I'm not saying you're not telling the truth, but not many people can trace their families back as far as that.....anyway, very impressive if that's the case. Would like to be able to trace my ancestors back that far.....even if they weren't royalty!

Prince Edward Aethling, grandson of King Aethelred II, is my 30G grandpa and I'm very happy the Swedish King Olof's order to murder him and his brother failed...whoever the people were who secretly helped them escape to Kiev from Sweden....I would like to say Thank You, because without you I wouldn't have ever existed nor would a bunch of my family.

King Cnut took over the English throne following a mass slaughter of Danes here on St Bryces day by Anglo Saxon ppl, Cnuts sister was killed in the slaughter & so he came here with revenge & took over the English throne, many English coins can be found in Scandinavian museums they took as taxes from us under Danelaw, and money for the Danes.

Hmmmm, I thought south britain and Ireland had baltic nobility, called the Fir Bolg, or Belgae / Belgian.
Some of those "danish" ones could be simply saxons or normans? By appearance at least.
