I'd rather not be so crude as my co-patriot below, though, dear haashim, (and, by the way, if you're in the UK then why would it bother you?)i must agee with him. The chances of your islamic headscarves overtaking our own dear grandmotherly headscarves are remarkably slim. Whatever chances you lot have of islamifying the UK, Ireland is different story - we do tend to say no to things ;)

You realize that most of these people will stay in Ireland, interbreed with the Irish, and the Irish will forever have Slavic blood in them? As the generations pass by, and the citizens of Ireland keep mating, eventually every Irish person will be part Lithuanian/ Polish/ etc. I think that's pretty sad. I don't care if you think that's racist. These people will spread their blood to all of your descendents eventually. Think about that. P.S. I lived in Westmeath too.
