Amazing video, russian spirit is something.
You got a guy squatting an easy 450 in total silence, two quiet spotter, a simple gym somewhere in Russia.
Compare to yankee video's where a 400 lbs fat as so called powerlifter wrapped like a taco make an quarter squat from a monolift with 8 noisy spotter..."comme onn johnnn, let's gooo guy...!!!"
After decade of being inspired by usa, guys like like fedor an andrei make me watching russia from a new angle.

@lift2live1 very true comparing the russian plifters to the U.S. these lifters can actually give the sport a good name like american lifters in the earlier era did. Not today's multi velcro wrap mummies squatting and complaining about joint pain from all the compression. Malanichev is amazing and seems to be in good health for years to lift

It's a shame that he can only get around 40 kg from his suit, I have known people who can get more than 50 kg from a single ply. But he is truly the king of squat...raw and single ply.
