Great concert, great quality, great voice! This show was originally broadcasted on the radio on September the 16th 1988 and therefore it's in top quality. The venue was Poplar Creek in Chicago. I think this show is very good overall with "The Ballad Of Danny Bailey (1909-34)" which Elton rarely performs live. I think this is the only tour Elton did the song in (except for the 1973 + 1974 concerts - correct me if i'm wrong). Moreover I just think you should enjoy this concert!

the last really great tours elton did were 88-89...with jon moffet on drums....the set was great...he did "the king must die"...those shows were brilliant....i also loved the 76 tour named louder the concord but not as pretty...
