US Armed Forces captures and kills bin Laden. Many thanks to our service men and women.

** May 1, 2011 - Osama bin Laden is killed by members of the US Armed forces. Thank you for all your hard work on bringing this international criminal to justice.

** August 19, 2010 - The United States pulls its last combat brigade out of Iraq. Congratulations to our service men and women for bringing this very ugly chapter in world history to a close. **

From 2000 - 2003, a small group of powerful men in the US decided that our country should invade Iraq. They worked hard to scare and brainwash the American people that this action was necessary, and on March 19, 2003 the invasion began.

This will no doubt go down in US history as one of the worst, most unfortunate decisions this country has ever made.

Today, US troops in Iraq are trying to put the pieces back together, in the hopes that the Iraqi people can get back to a somewhat normal life.

This video - actually a TV commercial - pays tribute to our troops who are engaged in this work.

I do not support the war, but I do support our troops. I hope they are successful in helping right the wrongs our government committed, and that they come back home as soon as possible.

And their combat history starts in most part with China Service 1899 for thre most part. This jingoistic stuff about Iraq, remember cutting and runing from what 4 years. Our troops are good guys and now good women, they try hard get shot up and some die. Go join the Boy Scounts and leave the Marines to men. I was RA, Regular Army, for 18 months during Vietnam, the Marines drafted as did the Army and Navy. Nobody gave a damm about us troops.
