Gwyn's Discipleship Story

Dear fellow disciples,
Learning and discipleship go hand in hand. Learning is about growing, following and supporting each other so that we can show Christ's love for the world.

When attending Greenbelt and the Detling Conference I met people from different backgrounds and learnt about their views. During a week at Taize I found that by being silent in the presence of God you learn to listen. When studying the Authorised Lay Ministry core module I learnt about my self and at The Gathering in 2009 I learnt the importance of personal stories in bringing people to faith.

I would encourage all church goers to attend a learning event like The Gathering. Learning is about growing closer to God - and when we grow we can share so much more with each other.
