  • Hey bro so Plasma is better for gaming? I'm gonna hook it up to my PC cuz I wanna play Tera online when it comes out....I'm still really paranoid about burn ins and I know Tera has an interface so I'm really worried about burn ins.

  • @nightkidd604 No don't ever hook a Plasma to a PC cause to many static images and yes you will get a image burn guaranteed

  • I think the vizio is overly bright and the color is different, That's about the only difference I saw that in certain parts where light sources are introduced the vizio seemed to have more larger, brighter, hard to see blooming bright light that kind of removes some detail. while the samsung seemed to keep the light compacted and more controlled leaving more detail on everything.

  • @spakattack agreed either it's to bright or to dark to me no sweet spot.

  • Bro...i think i`m loving plasma...your stuff is super clean...but i do not want to spend an arm nor a legg...i want to stay at $500 level..

  • @voogun you can find some great plasma HDTV's for that price. Google it

  • @Ri1seAgainst hz is not FPS. It is the amount each pixel gets refreshed every second. So yes, there is a point.

  • @nightkidd604 FredEFuego is spot on. Plasma TVs shouldn't be used for anything that has a lot of static images. Even for gaming only, plasmas can cause trouble. Example: If you play a game with a minimap in the corner or any other HUD it will burn in to some degree.

Soon we will be seeing the best of both worlds when it comes to TV technology. There is something called AMOLED (active matrix organic light emitting diode). TVs with this technology will have unprecedented picture quality.

  • i dont like 240hz LCD's stationary images get blurry when there's movement on the screen. plasma does it right

  • Hz not HRz ! ! ! ! ! LOL
