I think this comment was the inexperienced eye of an uninformed observer. It is clear that you don't understand the quality of this piece as well as the body language she puts into this piece which clearly defines her love for playing piano. As for the fact that she didn't smile afterward, sometimes that is not appropriate. She didn't just perform beautifully. She performed an intense and difficult piece with the passion that this piece requires.

Believe it or not. That actually captured the spirit and intent of this piece better than some higher skilled pianists. Some make it a race. Other's lose sight of the fact that this is a piece written for his daughter. It has to have a little childish dreaminess in it. Not concert forte. Quite well done. I liked the continuity and flow she gave it. Some get so staccatoish that it becomes disjointed. One of the better ones.

I'm trying to learn this peice (which is well beyound my level) as a challenge, and everytime I get discouraged and want to give up, I come to this video, and say, DARN YOU!!!!!!!
Her parents must be terrifying.
