This could only happen in England. I know it's almost 40 years ago, but the English just don't complain. They make the best of it, as demonstrated in this clip.

Does anyone remember the one where they put an electro-magnet under a sidewalk ,by a bus stop, then filled a suitcase full of metal, put the case on the magnet , turned it on and then a Beautiful girl or an old lady would ask men to help carry it to their car. The guys would try , to no avail , to pick it up and finally give up and then (with the magnet turned off )the girl would pick it up and walk away . Fun. . .ney !

I don't know where you have come to think we don't complain, but if you ever have been to here (which according to what you believe isn't likely) but one thing you'll notice is that English people aren't as nice and smiley as you think.
