I will never own another Mondeo whilst there is a hole up my ass....the very place where, I think, Ford quality control was conceived.

It'll only be 14 years before you see one of those mondeos in bad condition in a scummy chancy council house drive, shame though :(

Ford fixed it by replacing the instrument cluster in the dash. But don't pay for it, as this happened twice on my Mondeo the first being within 3 weeks of delivery. It is a design fault with the panel/software. So argue the case!
