@Starscreamf15 A B1 did something like that at the Toronto Airshow a few years ago. After that final fly-by, the airshow announcer said that it was louder than Shiela Copps during Question Period.
*Shilea Copps was a very annoying politician in Canada who could keep her mouth shut during debates in Parliament.

I know just how loud these monsters are. Used to live right in the path to the local bombing range in the area. Was out in the garage one day & suddenly hear this HUGE fat sound in the sky. I walked out I looked up and there was a B1. He was too low for a residential area fly over and then he lit it up! He was right above me... I was send to the ground almost instantly. I wasnt mad, I was in awe and just stared. Couldnt hear crap for awhile after that but still. LOL Free air show that day!

@LinkageBlacklustre perhaps he knew exactly what you suspect and made the choice to give his life for his country fully understanding that his sacrifice would help protect this nation. It wouldn't be the first time the United States of America needed a life to aid in her defense. We will never know those who made the greatest sacrifices. Those heros who knew theirs would never be revealed

I wish the Toronto Island Airport could accommodate these planes. That'll give the waterfront condo owners and the Centre Island squatters something to bitch about.

Can you imagine all three of them doing a full afterburner fly-by side by side? That would definitely show up on the Richter Scale!

Dare I say it, THAT is the sound of freedom ladies and gentlemen.
If this base was in New Zealand, someone would complain and get the base shut down. You guys kick ass :-)
