Start by doing a sl st into any corner, sc into that same corner st, sc into any amount of stitches across and in between each flower. (1sc, ch1, 1sc) on following corners. In the last corner on the 4th side (1sc, ch1, join with a sl st into 1st sc).

  • This is really beautiful, Paula. Some of my ladies were just talking the other night about collecting vintage handkerchiefs - and that while somewhat rare, they can sometimes be found at tag and estate sales. I may keep my eye out for one to try this on... :)

  • @sanjurodog Thanks very much. Yes, I don't see vintage handkerchiefs very much at all other than at my Nan's place so it's nice to keep them alive by making our own.
