All those (so called)scientists or (so called) NASA people who claim there's no global warming- take the time to research them, really research them, find out what their politcal bkground is (or) their corporate bkground is, then research that corporation and see what/where that links them to. Anyone who doesn't believe that global warming and pollution are hurting our health, our children, wildlife and this earth is either ignorant or has 'an agenda'.

NOWHERE is there any mention of the father of these babies even brought up- by any of them- it's all the women's responsiblity.

Next topic is Global warmning and Dan being the A-typical republican says it's a scam. THAT doesn't surprise me at all.. I've read his profile on the cbs website.

Wow, Dan's ignorant global warming comments are enough to make me dislike him. Global warming is not something that you "believe" in. Scientists were warning of this crisis long before Al Gore came along with his glorified power point show.

You know Al Gore has been involved with global warming research for long over 20 years. the remark of "glorified point show" you chose was fed to u by the media to brainwash the masses in to believing he's an oaf- that's what the media does- just like they claim he said he invented the internet and that's just not true-

I didn't mean that they aren't one of our problems in environmental pollution. I simply feel that there are larger issues that need to be addressed. I did not mean to be offensive in any way. Not that it makes any difference in this convo, but I have a Masters degree in Education. Everyone has there own opinions, and I value what you have to say. I know what he was trying to say, I have been routing for him from the begining. We are both from TN. However, there are better ways to stop the cycle of poverty in our country. Education and work programs including child care programs that can be implemented as a condition of the wellfare program might be a start. No one mentions the men impregnating these women & walking away from the responsibility of raising them. Car emissions are the least of our global warming problems in this country imo

Although global warming is proven to be at least partly caused by humans. Research shows that it will never have an effect on water levels more than a few centimeters or cause any increase in the amount of natural disasters. The simple fact is that it is only a polar bear issue. To tell people that it is somehow going to ruin the earth is just dishonest. To me the words "global warming" sounds like a good thing, just means more vacation destinations.

There is a much bigger incentive to claim that global warming is real as opposed to saying its not. You may wanna take your own advice as far as researching who is hired by who and what their political agenda is. FACT: since the beginning of recorded temperature, (approximately 80 yrs ago) the average temperature has risen 1/3 of a percent. One more thing, what is truely ignorant is calling someone such after reading 2 sentences off a message board. Have a nice day. : )

I don't think that Al Gore is an oaf, in fact I think he has done a great job bringing the issue of global warming to the forefront with his "glorified power point show". I think I first heard this term from a professor in my environmental studies class a few semesters ago. I'm offended that you think I am brainwashed by the media.
