Freeman8201 - no disrespect, but you clearly missed the point of the film and DIDN'T understand the ending.. The whole point of the film is that REVENGE DOESN'T WORK... It's why the guy tops himself in the lift, it's beautiful romantic and brilliant.. The hypnotist in the end was not "in on it" as you say, he voluntarily goes to her to see if he can eradicate the memory of fucking his own daughter...!
