There are some non V2 viewers which can display the newer topology sculpts. I know Phoenix and Singularity can do it. Imprudence and Snowglobe cannot do it.
Kirsten's can do it, but it's actually in the same class as Firestorm in that it is a "Viewer 2" now.

I really like her videos. They so far have solved my issues. Let's hope for the same with this one too. I'm sure it will. She is brilliant when it comes to Blender.

the basics of sculpting? ....... ........ ........ huhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. This didn't really teach me anything about sculpting, I'm too far lost. This seems more like intermediate sculpting, because it just jumps right in like it expects you to know what it's talking about.

@PurpleKillJoy Hi. the video is addressed to people who already know how to make sculpted prims, but wonder WHY these objects have such weird features. So i expect that you already know at least a bit about the topic.
If you "only" want to know HOW to work with sculpties, then it may be better to first watch my top hat tutorials, which take you through "howto make sculpted prims with Blender". Maybe that clarifies a bit ?
