  • I would really like to know who does this. It's bugged me for years!

  • You and me both. It's one of the great "unknowns" in TWC's history.

  • It almost sounds like it could be taken from a Dire Straits song. The chord progression, which is slightly bluesy, sounds like something they would do. But I'm not sure it is them. What *I'm* driving myself crazy about is finding a segment of the Weather Channel local forecast featuring the Eurythmics' "Here Comes The Rain Again". It's played a very seminal role in my life and I would love it if I could find it.

  • Check out the "Olympic Forecast" elsewhere in the video collection.

  • Unbelievable! I thought this one would never get solved. Twcclassics, do you happen to have a website of the same name? If so, it's great!

  • Good news! I found the artist yesterday. It's Roy Buchanan. The song is called "Sunset Over Broadway."

  • I'd love to know what the title and who the artist of this song is, too. Been searching for FOREVER, it feels like. Sounds like it could possibly be a teaming of Dave Lanz & Paul Speer, and I am researching that, as we speak. (What is "H" Flavor?)

  • Aw, that's it? Drat. Actually, I was hoping for something more.... See, it was because of this early exposure to synthpop (having been introduced to that sample when I was roughly 7 years old) that I feel fully established me as a synthpop fan years before I really got into the Eighties as a pop cultural thing, so I kinda feel that TWC is responsible for my most personally defining pop cultural love. So.

  • I think I remember what you're talking about. Didn't they have a pic of a small town all lit up at night and the caption said "stay tuned for your local forecast" or something like that?
