what if i take my right foot put all my weight(heavy)and step on your left foot/toes/lead foot, and pushed you back from you shoulders,you ankle snapping in about 100 peices is what would happen,i am no jui jit sui master by any means..but watch that lead foot.

stance really depends on what type of game youre playing..but ideally one should be low to avoid takedowns

@KANTFAZEMEH It's based off of Japanese Jujitsu, so not really.

@DanJos89 just like in boxing, it's not always left foot foward. southpaw is where you right foot is foward and your stance is opposite (right hand foward, left hand a little bit back, left foot back)

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has no striking, and because of that there isn't any concern that you might get punched in the face, so your stance doesn't keep your hands in a place where your head can easily be protected.
So aside from the basics that apply to all stances, they don't have anything in common.
