Up in this piece...Yo ho!

@monzavideo The rhythm section on this track was Warren Haggod II (drums), Sidney Pinchback (guitar) , and me, David Henderson (bass). We did a lot of recording considering at the time we were new on the scene.

This track was recorded in Chicago at STEREO SONIC STUDIOS owned by Edward Cody. The studio was at 328 South Wabash. It was done in a matter of hours. It was done in mono. Edward Cody designed the audio console The music that came out of that studio!

Really!! I had no idea where it was recorded even though I figured it wasn't done at Universal or the Chess studio.
I do know Jack Daniels (co writer of Tyrone Davis' "Turn Back The Hands Of Time) produced the song and the great Monk Higgins (Milton Bland) handled the arrangements. Thanks for the info on this track,I like facts like that.

Really great quality soin4. Where did you find this gem?

It was on a CD of all of Junior's Bright Star/Blue Rock material.
I have it on 45 also. Actually, the 45 mix is actually a few seconds longer. It gets on my nerve when record labels re-issue material on CD and mess it up by panning instruments and fading songs earlier than the original releases.
