Did you bring your kids with you when you worked as a nanny? I'm a nanny and my 19 month old comes with me it's quad the work but I love it. :)
What's your degree in? Can you do something with your degree? Do you have family in TX? Are you moving for your husbands job? I did know a 19 mo old could go to preschool?!? All the programs here (NY) start at 2 and potty trained. My dd was a late walker too (15.5 months) she can talk (over 200 words plus 3 word sentences) and sign (over 150) everythin

@Jlk6532 Also, my advice to you if live near where you work! Austin traffic is HORRIBLE. We're in central austin (Crestview) because that's where my husband's office is. We rented our house and moved into an apartment and we unloaded 6 truckloads of "stuff" onto willing takers, it makes you feel awesome to get rid of stuff

Don't fret! I moved from FL to TX in June and we are so happy here (we're in Austin). Jobs are better and everyone has been so welcoming and great. Our daughter, who was 2 when we moved, adjusted amazing and loves it here too.

@lizzy32984 The Remmington Apartments are really nice. We use to live there.I defiantly suggest looking at those.Depending on where in Austin you want to live. Austin is a great city!!! I hope you love it.
