Apparently, Santorum's nineteen-year-old nephew has endorsed Ron Paul. Santorum has laughed it off, calling it "a phase"... I feel sorry for the hospitalized daughter, but America would be crazy and suicidal to pick any candidate but Ron Paul.

@supersonicswag2011 If they practiced what they believed, they would only have sex for procreation, and the only kind of contraception they would have used is abstinence. That said, EVERY child they have is intentionally because, according to their belief, they only lie together specifically for the purpose OF creating a child. They are 100% responsible for the bad DELIBERATE decisions they've made in the name of faith.

@supersonicswag2011 I already answered this. It's cuz they insisted on having a child when the mother was 48 years old. The daughter's illness is a direct consequence of the advanced age of the mother. They should have never gotten to the point of having to rely on medicine if they had instead relied on their sense of personal responsibility, and made the smarter choice of not conceiving a child at this age.

@SkullOfYorick The only kind of contraception Catholics recognize is abstinence. The "stupid Catholic" religion they believe in prohibits them from sexual intercourse UNLESS it is for the SOLE purpose of procreation... So he was actually NOT adhering to his supposed religious beliefs by engaging in sex not intended to produce a child. Hence, assuming he and his wife are fully aware of this, which I believe, then they did in fact want and intended to have eight children.

@dawimythnotolo I didn't know that. You're right: that's totally irresponsible. They probably didn't 'want' eight children, though: they were adhering to the stupid Catholic prohibition on contraception, which makes it even more tragic.

Why is the biggest crusader for Christianity in the GOP have a daughter who is suffering of disease. Why dosen't God reward such a devout follower by healing his daughter? Could it be that their prayers are not working and that there's no God. Could it be that they will have to rely on medicine instead of faith in order for their daughter's health. I think so.
