I cant get anywhere stuck in vesa on the same card as yours 9250 AGP + 1.5g ram and athlon 1900+

psychadelicxxxdevil the proprietery ati drivers no longer support this card. So i'm running on the open source drivers. If you have ubuntu 7.10 just change the line in your /etc/X11/xorg.conf to Driver "radeon" in the section of your video card, then restart the X server (ctrl-alt-backspace - be sure to save your work before you do that).
