Grand Prix 2, running in DOSBox version 0.70. The game's really playable in this emulator, and as you can see, it's possible to record movies :)
The movie itself is a bit boring, just a lap around Monza...

  • Is it possible to run GP2 on Windows Seven, using DosBox?

  • @emennocchi I haven't tried it yet but I expect it would work.

  • So will this work on windows xp? I've it runs through dos box but will still work on win xp? help..... I Love this game it's true classic.

  • @Dubpaul40 it will not run on XP without DOSBox. If you want to run without DOSBox you'll need Windows 95/98/ME

  • @Dubpaul40 oh wait... it seems it's also possible using XP's command line and a tool called VDMSound.... read the older comments, somebody posted about it.

  • my very first F1, i played this when i was 4 years old, and i still have it with me in my PC!!! where u get that car??? i never saw that car in game! can u reply me plz?

    Cumps...

  • @BigFigueiredo18

it's a custom car skin. You could modify a lot in the game with tools made by the game's community.

  • you don't need an emulator to run GP2 on Windows 98. I was used to paly it years ago on Win98 and it worked fine. Also 98 includes DOS.

  • Nice lap. Notice, by 1994, the 2nd Lesmo corner was still very fast (0:45), compared to nowadays version.
