Montage of my friends Caroline and Andrew doing flatwork and jumping over a few months in 2007, at a riding school.
Think the unconstructive criticism posted on this video is a bit uncalled for tbh. Considering these videos are of them learning to jump I think they were doing really well. Of course they were not perfect - and they're still not perfect now, 4-5 years later! Show me a perfect rider and I'll tell you you're a liar :)

  • you do very well. i'm just wondering why you don't jump higher- I know the height doesn't matter, but it's fun to try higher jumps. You definetly look like you could

  • @clairelouisandsydney

Since this video was filmed and uploaded both riders have progressed to jumping a lot higher :)

  • How old r u ????? I'm 10 and I can jump higher than that

  • @beastmodecomedy123

And as you get older you will learn that the height of the fences is not important - it's learning and being able to jump a fence well, whether it's 2" or 4"!

  • Draught horses should not jump

  • @dziundziunia

I disagree. All horses can jump to some extent and there's no reason why a draft should not jump (even if it is only in moderation). And anyway - where in this video do you actually SEE a draught horse? There aren't any. So get your facts right ;)

  • @MsPuppylove2468 omg! they are learning to ride! seriously why are people so rude!

  • I want a little cross country course like that!!

  • WHOLLLEEEY SHIT !! did anyone else notice that grey horses tail !! Faarrkk it's soo thicck !!!!

  • What a beautiful horses!

  • They did great then for them just learning. I am 21 and am still doing smaller then 2 ft. So height or pace never matters, I think themain thing is to have fun and not being competative.

  • good work as a team i hope u can go to the bolivarianos games !!!! :) good luck !!

  • @leannegr IKR never put anything past any horse ever

  • I see absolutely no issue with small jumps. I show 3 foot hunters, but use 1'6 jumps to work through problems my horse and I have.

  • @dziundziunia how can you say that when all horses can jump...even shetlands can!

and another thing it doesnt matter about the height!! all u people who are giving out about the height of the jumps are just jelous of how good they are :-)
