@lparker0 It is about being lonely, but in the context of a greater meaning. Like when Our Blessed Lord was on the cross "father why have you forsaken me" its a feeling of loneliness but because a soul is being purified for a greater end. It is really hard to explain.

it's the series Roar!
it's reallllly old! and it got cancelled after just one season, so it never really got well known.. too bad!

I love this Episode "Sweet Bridget" all the serie is amazing. The music, the natural scenaries, but most of all the actors, especially Heath (Conor). I want to see the next season!! I watched the 13 episodes and I want more....!!!!

Uhm this is totally taken wrong. "Dark Night of the Soul" is talking about God. Not lust, Its a beautiful point in the pinical of the "Dark Night" when once feel abandoned by God. Even as Christ was on the Cross, he went thru the "dark night" only few people ever go thru it. But wrong meaning of the words, bad interpritation. Just saying.

@ussenterprisecaptian I always felt that the song was about being lonely and desperate. In the show the girl was separated from her kind. The girl is different than the human heroes. She is innocent and even acts like a child in many ways. I think the song fits well. It's just a show and I liked this scene. Thanks for the comment.
