Hello, I don't know if you guys have found a bone marrow donor yet but I am 1/2 Japanese and Irish and my little girl is 1/4 Japanese and Irish English- She is only 8 years old, would she be able to register and donate should she match?
CONGRATULATIONS NICK!! I just saw the posting on Channel EMC that you have been declared cancer free!!! I know you still have a bit of recovering to do, but I hope you know that you have all of EMC behind you!
Hi Nick. I live in So Cal and would like to be swabbed. Would it help speed things up if I went to a local Kaiser facility? Can I even do that? I can go to my SD Blood Bank but I can't specify that I'm doing this for you. My sibs and their kids in MA have been checked and I want to do my part too! I am half Chinese and I think there's been 3 generations of my family that have already volunteered. My sister has a friend at EMC in MA and that's how we heard about you. Stay strong! Mary Leo
Hang in there Nick! My Dad told me about this a few days ago and I couldn't believe it, you're so young for something like this to be happening to you. But it's so great that so many people are helping out by trying to find a bone marrow donor. I've told all my friends and family so they can try to help too. You can definitely pull through this man! -Jake Bratrude
