Visit www.thepleasers.co.uk Here are The Pleasers performing one of their 1978 hit singles on national UK TV. First performed by The Who back in 1965, The Pleasers (Produced by Tommy Boyce) made this song by Pete Townshend their own. What finished off punk! Watch out for the return of the mini skirt and perfume spray, neat haircuts, suits and ties and for pop music in which you can not only hear the words, but hum the melody too!
The Daily Mail (Jan 20th 1978).

I'm sorry , but what the hell was this peace of over produced and over blown version of a great pop song done for ??!! I didn't get it !! There were too many strange deviations from the original classic by the Who , in this version for my taste !!
