*Not sure if there are 360 degrees. There are 90 degrees according to Glen Kealey. The 360 degrees may refer to the process one goes through to be appointed to the the highest degree. Although the higher you go up the more you are removed from reality. A brief note in defense of Glen kealey below written by of all people David Icke.

A seventh is definitely not the dominate. Here you are using mixed terminology confusing scalar degrees with modal steps. A clear demonstration of a complete lack of understanding in harmonic theory.

A 14th is the highest interval recognized. To suggest that a 7th is a 15th is pretty stupid, and characterizing all minor steps as the definition of an interval distance is just fucking pure idiocy.

Like I said. Best not to argue with an expert of the field.

The 5th is not the third note of a "harmonic series." By the phrase "harmonic series" I am assuming by an educated guess that you actually mean to say "chromatic scale." A diatonic 5th is the 8th note of a chromatic scale based on it's relative mode (if that were possible to be defined.)

Best not to try and redefine music theory to a music theory expert.

You are correct that the major 3rd is a chromatic 5th, but a minor 3rd is a chromatic 4th.

The tuning is based on the overtone series of perfect 4ths and 5ths, and Octaves.
