@lpmitch if anything the double cut should give you easier access down there, especially with 24 frets When I play open your eyes, i find my thumb to be really uncomfortable against the heel of my les paul neck

it may, it may not im working on other alter bidge songs at the moment, the solo is the only thing on open your eyes thats keeping me from doing it, cuz i can only play it at about 80% full speed, plus the body style of my guitar makes it kind of hard to play the solo as opposed to a singlecut model like marks signature model
