We had Nora in the pool this weekend and I decided to see if my new Kodak Zx5 was really waterproof. It was. Nora loves to swim and with her head float it gives her the independence and freedom to enjoy it more. It's sad to see how much less Nora is able to move as she gets older.
SMA is a disease that affects the muscles in the body. It weakens all muscles even the ones that make Nora swallow and cough. SMA is a terminal disease with no treatment of cure. Nors's time left is limited, but we intend to make her have all the fun she can. She is the greatest daughter in the world to us.
