5/11/2011 Colby, KS Funnel Clouds and hail footage.

Severe storms erupted across portions of eastern Colorado and western Kansas. Hail, high winds, funnels, and a few tornadoes were reported across the region and across the country.

Video package by Tony Laubach includes footage shot along KS-25 north of the town of Colby, Kansas. Video package opens up with a rapidly rotating funnel cloud north of Colby. Several shots as funnel was directly overhead and as it moved to the northwest. Several other shots of hard rotating clouds and another thin funnel. Several shots of hail up to 1-inch in diameter coming down on KS-25 north of Colby. Video package ends with scenic shots of the supercell.
