OTC Genisys automotive scanner Part 1

Here is a video review of the OTC Genisys automotive scanner. This is one of the best scanners available. It is capable of scanning al Domestic , asian, and european cars made since 1981 up to the present. One of the great feature is it is capable of bidirectional testing. you can turn on your fuel pump etc to test them. Part 1

I did not have much trouble with mine except it woud not communicate with some cars so I sold it.

this scanner sucks its slow takes forever to read codes and display them and it freezes up time to time the snap on scanners modis verus or solus is your best bet

Do not buy this scanner unless you just like to play around. It will not work in a professional environment nor will it provide you with reliable diagnostic information. This is OTC's flagship scanner and I am sure this tool will piss you off to the point of drinking heavily. I'd give it away except Snap-On is taking it as a trade in for their Versus platform. The piece of poop Solarity lab scope is going with it... never seen such shoddy equipment. A master tech has warned you!
