  • what is the spindle rpm which v carve bit is used, can give me the name, is it the straight edge carbide one ? Just make a post or video of your bit collection because choosing right bit is very important

  • @karandex Sorry i do not remember for this video, and i used different speeds an bits for the different engravings.

Take a look at some other video's as they might answer your questions...

Also have a look at my website with some more info...

flat engravings would indeed be done by straight edge solid carbide bits (1 flute).

Use 'climb milling' and cool it with air (the blue hose in the vid)

  • Are you using Vectric v-carve?

  • @bigbigjimbo

This could be done by vcarve indeed, although this one is done with artcam

  • Top, top job!!!!

    Such a great end result!

I don't think I've seen it anywhere? How long did this take?

I've had a wander around your website last week too.... Very nice work :)

Now I'm going to have to go and see how much you want for these types of sign.... Then I'll have to think of something to write on one ! :)

Love the router dancing too LOL. Very upbeat tune as well.... Quite far from my own choices. But fit the vid' very well. :)

    Ralph.

  • Thanks again Dividedhead...

About the result, well everybody using CNC can make it I think,

but most dont try the 3D and V-carve and stay with the 2D engravings..

True my website you can use the contact form if you have sort of design you want.

Or use the email adres info ad ....

The music is not really my thing to, but i just search to the correct audio length :)
