  • You're just too cool, Hilary :)

  • There is certainly a family resemblance. It's obvious they are Schoenberg's.

  • So this is what spawns of the devil look like. Not exactly what I expected.

    I'm kidding, I'm kidding.

I don't think I've ever seen an interview with descendants of a composer before. Interesting. I wonder if any of them are musical...it didn't really seem like they were.

  • @Blutkasper-I agree.

  • This is fun! Thank you!

  • @Blutkasper I thought the same actually. Otherwise,enjoyed it!

  • Mrs Hilary Hahn,

it is disrespectful to ask into the camera und let them answer into your back. You let them stay behind like idiots. Sorry for this negative feedback and for my poor english.

    Regards,

    M.R. from germany

  • Thank you for following through on this rather wacky idea. The world needs more of this.

  • Cool! :D

  • Funny idea of yours, Hilary, to interview members of the Schoenberg family. Great! Most composers had no family, but Schoenberg enjoyed his privilege.

Please allow one question: Where have you made these interviews? Schoenberg lived in L. A., where youve been recently (as the whole musical world has seen). But as far as I know, Schoenbergs atelier has been brought to Vienna, where most part of his work is preserved.

  • Hilary, I am sure you are aware of the fact that there is a building for fine arts (dance and music, etc) at UCLA dedicated to Arnold Schoenberg appropriately called the Schoenberg Hall.

Unfortunately it is not designed for performances so the Royce Hall is where the concerts are held.

Just FYI, in case you missed that.

    We love you.
