He didn't include the 1989 "Batman," which Tim Burton openly admit was inspired by "The Killing Joke" (although he never had to get paid for that one, given that none of the characters were his).

I could listen to Alan Moore talk for hours. He's one of the most interesting personalities alive today.

I didnt want this interview to end! Even Stewart Lee was thinking the same thing! Were you? :)

mr mooore...keeping what he's got by giving it all away..now that's magic

@CyberDeadly you could read anything by derren brown for a start, magic isnt fireballs and telekinesis but really just manipulation/manifestation of a state of mind, whether your own or others.
-
I'd put Lewis in any roll. I have watched "There Will Be Blood" so many times.

@Halleberryismine Some of the pictures of the murdered women were horrible to view, nice to know that was intended and i'm not a massive pussy

The American Hollywood screenwriter he's talking about is Larry Cohen, writer/director of the original It's Alive, God Told Me To, and The Stuff. He claimed that the makers of League of Extraordinary Gentlemen took his idea of Allen Quartermain and Sherlock Holmes vs. Dracula and Professor Moriarty.
One of the best interviews I've heard. Always a fan of Alan Moore, I am now in awe of his humanity and nonconformity.
