UPDATE: To the angry '2001: A Space Odyssey' misanthropes: stop crying on my video. If I get any more essays from you guys I'm going to mutilate this film even more. This was supposed to be lighthearted, but you guys are acting like I burned your equivalent of the Qur'an. Also, 2010: The Year We Make Contact is a FAR superior film. Want to know why? Because it actually had a plot, suck on that hipsters.

People seek out these things for nostalgia. They know what they remember and what they liked. They seek so relive that pleasant feeling. When they find that they don't recognise the music or something, they rebel. It's no longer authentic. You should at least have the sense to realize that and expect it when you make changes to things that are ingrained in Americana. Remember what happened when Coke messed with success? Mass rebelion. They put it back. Be a hero - put the original music back.

@TheMrBlinx It's an interesting comparison but in coke's case there was no other option. People had to drink the new formula. This isn't the case here. There are plenty of copies of the original up and I'm not even ranked anywhere close to the top of the search list. If people want the original they can search it. This is here to stay. At this point I don't really care how badly it's being received it's bringing in way too many views to stop now.
