its a timing wedge it's to start the timer... the starter sticks it under your tire... you let the car roll back and sit on it... the starter tells you that its safe to proceed and when you drive off it senses that your car has moved and starts the timer and stops the timer at the top of the hill with a light beam or a pressure tube... rear wheel drive has the wedge jammed under the front tyre and FWD AWD have it under the rear wheel
