Pastor Murray telling it like it is. America Is Babylon The Great? How old is the US? 400 yrs or so, arrayed in purple and scarlet? I think not, if you think she rules over the kings of the Earth, do more research to find out who rules over HER! Now the Beast that carrieth her, those are made up of 10 horns, correct? Go figure. There is so much evidence that Jerimiah 50,51 is america I could win any debate.The question is, Mystery Babylon spoken of in Rev ch 17,18.

Is this America? Much harder to pin down.

My take is that after Obama,king of Babylon,[ie The Antichrist] finds out we wont willingly go with his agenda .He will make us naked[take away defenses] and destroy us.He will ,after we are destroyed,take his place as head of EU along with the ten kings that havent recieved their power yet.

cont...these well healed fat cats ARE reigning as kings with the beast that had the deadly wound, the beast needed them in order to survive, and that was the deal: the 10 get to reign as kings in their own kingdom (USA) where before they had no power as kings, they set up the new system (Federal Reserve) their new kingdom would now be run exactly as ancient Babylon. This woman has "hopped" from head to head finally ending up for her final judgement "landing" on the 8th head (USA) :)

Riddle: What kind of king has no kingdom? But recieve power AS kings for one hour with the beast...this tells me they are not kings in the literal sense of the word, otherwise they wouldn't need the beast to give them power to rule as kings since they would already be kings and ruling on their own merits as such. my suggestion is that these 10 "kings" are the moneyed elite i.e. the Rockafellers, Rothschilds, Warburgs...all the big money from when this country started to become industrialized

I'd have to disagree, because revelation says seal up the prophecy until the end, so I don't believe it has to do with prior empires, I believe it's from 1929 and beyond when vat city received a kingdom, from then on it had kings. it makes sense with everything else and the site I sent you also.

I would disagree with that simply because the British Empire was most likely the 7th kingdom which had the wound, (the text reads "as if it were wounded"-if memory serves me) this wound may have been contrived, regardless, you may ask who gave the wound? It was Hitler-when he counterfieted the British pound, thereby dealing a death blow to the empire, now this "Empire" is living "vicariously" through the USA via the round table groups such as and most notably the CFR, usa is the 8th head

Cyndrelian, I would say it is just the opposite-"she" is the 8th head which "belongs" to the other seven heads(kingdoms) being a tool in their hand...kind of a "pimp-ho" relationship.

we must also conclude that the woman resides on many waters (17:1), which would require her to be scattered out on the face of the earth. Clearly this is not to be taken literally, for 17:15 identifies the waters as peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues. If the woman is said to sit on both the waters and on the seven mountains, more is meant that geography.
