Every minute of this movie is gripping and brilliant. These values were lived by abd seen. They were the soul of India where religion was not a barrier, everyone sought to overcome poverty and hardship with the strength of their values, without a penny in hand people took pride in their integrity and beleived that good comes to those who strive in the path of truth.

he's my grandmother's brother and a brilliant man who's childhood has been difficult for him mostly. their move to pakistan in 54 was also really difficult and i still think they should have stayed in india...but would they have done better for themselves? i dunno. no one knows. anyway, it's nice to see their art was this good during a time of strong emotion.

My son passed away on 13 March 2010. Listening to this song brought tears to my eyes. It seems the words of this song are my son's, as he said similar words when he was with me.

I do not believe that this song was sung by Asha Bhonsle.I always thought it was sung by Lata Mangheshkar.
Asha Bhonsle could also excel in such touching songs.
