a very good ride. she was favoring her leg a little at the end of the 20+ minute ride so we will have to take things slowly. Though she only foxtrotted for a few brief moments she has a very smooth pace which for a trail rider is fine. Also, when riding at the foxtrot/pace you will notice me looking at the horn. This goes against the sit tall and look straight structure of riding because when riding a gaited horse like a Missouri Fox Trotter or a Tennessee Walker you can truley tell wether they are really gaiting by the movement of the saddle. If the Horn should be moving back and forth if the horse is doing its natural gaits and side to side if they are pacing. If you ever get the chance go to a Missouri Fox Trotter show and i can garuntee in the 65+ class all the ridders will be staring at the saddle horns.
