If he was black he'd be a first round pick and get 10 million dollars.
But hes white so he'll be a 7th round pick and get 300,000 dollars.
Cos all those yards and TDs mean nothing if you are white.

Stanford also has a phenomenal young quarterback, Andrew Luck, a redshirt Freshman,who is one of the best in the Pac Ten. Cool, efficient, accurate, fast, and resourceful, he seldom betrays his youth This young man really does deserve such hyperbole! With Whalen as a receiver, and Gearhart the running back, Stanford has a seriously contending football team this year.

The comment that Gearhart is a slow back is simply untrue. He has good speed, but his power, cutting ability, and vision obscure the fact that he has better than average speed. Also, he can catch the ball. Gearhart is the complete back. He plays for Stanford, 2800 miles away from the center of media hype, or else he would be a serious candidate for the Heisman. As it is, he is often mentioned for that honor.

The Offensive line is REALLY good and Gerhart is big and they use that to their advantage in having a slow runing back using the O-line as the base for blocking his entire short runs. Especially with pitch plays. Cant wait to see Oregon's Defence use their speed to rally on the ball this saturday!!!
